Gifts by Will

Through various types of bequests to Seton Hill, you may secure a charitable estate-tax deduction for the value of the gift. Best of all, you will know that your generosity will support our mission for years to come.

You may prefer to state in your will or trust a sum of money or a percentage of your estate that you wish to give to Seton Hill.

Whatever form of bequest you choose, it is not subject to federal estate taxes and so significantly reduces the tax burden of an estate. The value of the bequest may be deducted when the taxable estate is determined, and there is no limit to the deduction.

Report a gift in your will or trust

If you’ve left a gift to Seton Hill University in your estate plan, you can use the tool below to let us know! It can often be difficult to plan and make sure that your gifts are used in line with your wishes if they are left unknown. But more importantly, we want to say thank you for considering our work as a part of your legacy. We know that life circumstances can change and you may need to alter or reconsider your gift in the future. That’s all right — reporting your gift today does not obligate you now nor in the future.
